What's Wrong with the Octo-Mom?

Nadya Denise Suleman, the infamous Octo-Mommy, is probably the weirdest person the general public has ever seen on TV. or in the news. She is down-right crazy and needs some "extra special" help.
For those of you who don't know who Suleman is, she is a former psychiatric technician, a divorcee, and the mother to 14 children. Suleman, who no longer works and filed for workers compensation back in '99 and again in 01, lives with her mother in a tiny three bedroom house, which will be auctioned off in May of 2009 because her mother can't pay the bills.
I am personally taken back by this woman. I honestly cannot believe what she has done and what she expects from the rest of America to do. I have seen her interviews on Dr. Phil and other programs, and this woman, Suleman, wants us to help pay for her kids. It's like a "Baby Bailout!"
This is what I have to say to Suleman: What about the rest of us? Why do I have to wakeup in the morning at 4:45 am to get to work on time, get home around 4:30 pm to support my growing family, and finally when my paycheck hits the bank, give some of my money to you, a person who will not work or can't work because she doesn't know when to stop?
On Dr. Phil, Suleman stated that she recognizes she needs help with the children. She needs people to give her money and to volunteer time to help raise her 14 kids. That's great, Suleman. I wish I could just stay at home, play with my son (and my due in May daughter) and then have you pay me for it, but that won't happen. Why, because, like the rest of America, we use better judgment.
How in the right mind could you think, "Hey, this is a great idea! I'll have even more kids than I can handle and have my retired parents in their late 60s have to go back into the world and make money for me, their irresponsible daughter. That would be great!"
And the sad part is that's what's happening. Suleman's father, a 67 year old native of Iraq, is currently in the works to go back to Iraq as a translator and driver, so he can pay for his grandchildren and see to it that they actually can have food on the table at night.
This is incredibly sad. As a retired man, he should be out golfing or sitting on his front porch, shaking his fist at teen that drive down his street way too fast. I know that's what I'd be doing.
And the sad part again is Suleman, the Octo-Mommy, really doesn't seem to care. She's going to do what she wants and expect everyone else to pay for it.
But there is one way Suleman can make some cash. Vivid Entertainment, a pornographic movie company, has offered Suleman a reported $1 million to star in a film. I hate to say this but I really think she should do this. But only because of all the stress she has but on her family, America and most importantly, her children.
I pray that God bless these children's lives and that he implant a better brain into Suleman.
Amen.

"Since when do we pray people sin in the name of God? Or have I lost the whole point of religion?I don't agree with what this woman did at all, she had fertility treatment when she already had more kids than she could handle. BUT if you believe in God then surely you must accept that it's God will that these babies are here.I don't like supporting all the 'large' out of work families in the UK but I would never expect or want them to go into prostitution/porn to pay for their kids.I wasn't saying I pray to God this woman sins in God's name. All I said was, "I pray that God bless these children's lives and that he implant a better brain into Suleman." Just to be clear, I'm not praying this woman sins in God's name. What the statement is about, more or less, is saying sometimes you have to do what you do to provide for your family. My father was let go years ago at Christmas time. Instead of sitting there waiting for others to give him money, he got up and got another job building bikes. It wasn't one he wanted but he knew he had to swallow his pride to provide for us. A few months later he found another job like the one he had before so everything was great. That's the point being made and I feel you missed that. Do I want her to go into por? NO! I even made a comment about that in the story, but once again, I think you missed that.I just feel she needs to start doing something for her kids instead of having others do it for her, that's all. There is a big difference between building bikes and starring in a porn film.
Would you want your mother to do porn to provide for your family?
I've cleaned loo's to provide for mine, but I'd never star in a porn film.
Getting a job when you have 14 kids is unrealistic asit will cost more in childcare than she could possibly earn to pay for it, so we still end up paying for those children. She should not have been permitted fertility treatment in the first place, but what's done is done. So like it or not, the tax payer will pay just as it does for many millions of others.
Back to our point of contention - should she have sex with strangers so she can pay for her brood herself ? No.I hear what you're saying. I guess we both see thing a little different, and that's fine. You are right about a difference in being in porn vs. building bikes, but I still feel the way I do. I wish there was a way she could give back somehow.I'm totally fine with the way you feel, as long as it is clear I didn't pray for her to sin in God's name. As a church goer, that one stung a little. And maybe I should have left out the info I found on the whole porn thing, but it still is true.Have a good one.I didn't mean to sting you Ryan, so sorry for that, but I do find it odd when church goers make these comments, as to me it goes against Gods message (religious message that is). I am not religious but I imagine selling your body for money is wrong, thus to suggest anyone does this for any reason is anti Gods message surely? This is what confused me. Had you not been religious and a church goer, I'd have reacted differently as there is no conflict of interest if you see what I mean?
Anyway it's good to agree to disagree. I am with you on the rest of the article 100%.
ps did you know everyone in the UK gets child benefit even millionaires, now that's what you call a huge waste of money!
Who do you think you are? Perhaps Suleman is wrong. But how dare you profane the name of the living God by suggesting she work for pornography film, how dare you suggest that her children should not be here, because God has ordained that they should.Shame on you for you have sinned also and one sin is not greater or less than another.
